LABO-3 is a versatile autonomous mobile robot platform for a wide range of research and development which require a large payload. Powerful motors combined with high performance batteries and friction free wheel/caster arrangement permit high-payload experiments that span several hours.

Features

  • Robot platform ideal for laboratory experiments and application development
  • Autonomous mobile platform for behavior-based AI (New AI) or conventional AI experiments
  • From fully-controlled to fully autonomous operations
  • Flat top with maximum payload of 20 kg (44 lbs)
  • 2 wheel differential drive steering with zero turning radius
  • Uses coded active infrared sensors for noise-free obstacle avoidance and maneuvering in complex real world environments
  • Free space detection and/or landmark-based navigation using optional vision system
  • Most of AAI's intelligent robot options applicable
