The Continuous Power Supply includes an adjustable maze for running multiple collaborating Khepera robots and a DC power supply circuit for Khepera experiments that require a long run time.


  • Allows several Khepera robots to run simultaneously for a long period of time
  • The floor of the maze is a ground (GND), and the VCC is supplied from a copper net that covers the entire maze
  • Power is received continuously by each Khepera from a pantagraph located on top of the power turret on Khepera
  • The maze is modifiable and adjustable to suit individual experiments
  • Enough experiment space and power for up to 15 Kheperas in a standard size maze

Large - 101.6 cm (40 inches) long x 76 cm (30 inches) wide x 8.3 cm (3.2 inches) high
Floor: Copper-clad board
Length of operation: more than 50 hours continuous
Supply power output: 5.0V ~ 6.5VDC 8A


  1. Experiment Management System
    • Experiment Management System's software runs on the host computer and includes a file management system
    • IR Communication to establish downlink (host to Kheperas) and uplink (Kheperas to host) data/file channels
    • Communication Module connects IR transceiver elements built into the maze wall with a host computer
    • Able to download Khepera's complete programs from a host
    • Requires option (2) below
  2. IR Communication Turret, a Khepera add-on turret, for communication between Khepera robots, or between Khepera robots and host computer. Power turret is integrated on this turret if this option is chosen.
